V is studying up for the big move. (She's perusing the Not For Tourists Guide to New York City, of course.)We are painting cabinets, tearing out old plumbing, boxing up photographs, and contemplating landscaping possibilities. The house is due to go on the market June 1.
If you asked me today where we will end up, I'd say we're moving to Inwood . Rents are cheap, it's supposed to be quiet and pretty (you know, for Manhattan), and for M, it's an easy commute to the School of American Ballet (that would be at Lincoln Center, right next door to Juilliard).

That would be AT Lincoln Center. And get used to saying "on line" as in "standing on line," not "in." It'll be hard (quite the adjustment) and yet it will be fun. Don't forget that I'm very willing to be a resource if you need or want it. I can also probably still get you home if you get lost in the Village!
