Apartment Hunt Redux

The place we were all set to sublet has fallen through. I'm disappointed, but trying to see this as a good thing in the long run. Everything happens for a reason, right? (Tom says bullshit - cynical pessimist to the core. Love you, sweetie!) Now we have the opportunity to have our own names on a lease and stay in our apartment long-term, if we so desire. Better, right?

We were really taken with the Kensington/Windsor Terrace area where the sublet was, so I'm mostly looking there, although we are somewhat open. I wanted M to go to the Cynthia King Dance Studio, and after being so down on NYC public schools, P.S. 130 was starting to look really good to me.

So if anyone out there has a lead on a place in Brooklyn, preferably in the Borough Park/Windsor Terrace/Kensington/Ditmas Park areas, please please let me know. We need to move the weekend of August 18, and we promise to have you over for dinner if you help us find a place!
