A couple of months ago, I had just gotten out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my head when Violet came up and said, "You groucho! Ha ha ha ha ha - groucho! Mommy groucho!" I couldn't figure it out. I wasn't acting grouchy at all! The next time she saw me with a towel on my head (after a shower, of course - I don't normally walk around this way) she called me groucho again. Finally, I figured it out. She loves to watch this:
Apparently, the towel on my head reminds her of Groucho's nightcap. So now, whenever I've just washed my hair and have a towel wrapped around my head, I'm Groucho. The other day I was giving her a bath after I'd just taken a shower (so, towel on head) and she was saying things like "More soap peese, Groucho." "Ready to get out now, Groucho!" "No Groucho, not that towel - duck towel, Groucho!" All with a totally straight face. She's a funny one, my V.

Yes, a funny one, your V. She sounds like a little character, what a great kid. My kids went through a phase when they were terrified if I wore a towel on my head, they thought I was no longer mommy.
